Our journey started when we were seeking all natural skincare that we were certain would not irritate our daughter's skin. Battling eczema and sensitive skin is a serious feat and finding products you can trust and that won't cause flare ups was *key*. Surrounded by cows and farmland we took to nature for a solution. From there balmshell was born.

Our suet (premium beef fat surrounding the kidneys) is thoughtfully sourced from trusted local farms in our home state of Wisconsin. Rendered in our kitchen, our tallow is 100% natural and nutrient rich. Inspired by simplicity & tradition, our products are created to be safe, gentle, and nourishing for the whole family.
